I just tried Tarte Maneater Magnetic Volumptuous Mascara .30 ounce Black Full Size. Anyone who knows me knows that I am a sucker for the best mascara. I have tried them all–drugstore brands, high-end brands, you name it. So when I was given the opportunity to try out Tarte’s new Maneater Voluptuous Mascara, I was all in. Here’s what I thought.

First impressions are everything, and this mascara did not disappoint. The packaging is sleek and eye-catching, and it promises 16 hours of wear. Sign me up! I was also pleased to see that the mascara is ophthalmologist tested and safe for contact lens wearers–two things that are important to me.

I was a bit skeptical about the custom 500+ bristle brush, but I have to say that it definitely made a difference.
