Method 1: The Oils Method.

This is by far my favorite method for removing waterproof mascara because it's relatively gentle and it doesn't require any harsh chemicals or scrubbing. All you need are some cotton balls or pads and a little bit of oil (I like to use coconut oil, but olive oil or baby oil will work just as well).

A Brief Overview: How to take off waterproof mascara with oil.

Start by saturating a cotton ball with your chosen oil and then gently press it against your lashes, holding for 10-20 seconds. This will help break down the bonds between the mascara and your lashes, making it much easier to remove.

Once you've given the oils a chance to work their magic, gently wipe away the excess with a clean cotton ball until all traces of mascara are gone.

Finish with a quick rinse using warm water to remove any residual oil.

Step One: Get Your Tools Ready.
